Colt Collector's Association

The Colt Collector's Association annual ALL COLT Firearms Show and Meeting will be held this October in Louisville, KY. If you would like to attend, or want more info about the CCA, email George M. Franklin at gfrank47@aol.com or call him at 561-471-9929.

If anyone is wondering why a Star site would care about Colts, there were several cooperative agreements throughout the years that saw Star pistols sold under the Colt name. None of these went much of anywhere, and some are presumably quite unusual and rare. Two I am aware of are the Colt Pony or Star Model D and the dual-branded Colt/Star Model 30 (which I have not yet posted, though I do have one small image).

Model C Manual Also

Thanks to reader xxxx, the C series now has a manual. In fact, this is the first manual for any vest-pocket pistol. Its not too detailed, as Star seems to have thought that all the straight blowback guns were simple to maintain, or something. Basically no new info about how the gun works, but its still interesting.

Visit the C page to download the PDF manual.
