12/31/2007: "Stop using all my bits"

Despite no particular uptick in page views or anything, my hosting provider insists I am using much more bandwidth than usual. Like 30% more. Actually... you guys are. Or someone has attached a bot to their crappy servers. Or its an analytics anomaly.

Anyway, since I make no money off this (the advertising I tried briefly didn't pan out, you'll notice) I am reluctant to increase what I spend on it. The month ends in 22 minutes, so we'll probably be fine, but if this trend continues, its just barely possible the site will go dark at some time. Have no fear, it'll come back shortly thereafter, one way or another.


I'd ask for donations, but that always strikes me as cheezy. I /will/ gladly charge [well below market rate] fees for paid advertising, if anyone reading has a remotely relevant product, though. And I'll even design the banner for you for free.
